Satellite event of the 8th European Congress of Mathematics

The conference was first planned to take place at the St. Bernardin Hotel in Portorož, Slovenia. This is also the venue of the 8ECM. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemics, the

conference will be held entirely online.

That is, there will be no auditorium talks; instead, each speaker will give a talk through Zoom, from a location of his/her choice. The participants who will be in a position to do so are nevertheless welcome to travel to Portorož and engage in informal meetings with other attendees. Please see the section on practical information.

Likewise, the 8ECM will be carried out online only.

Welcome!

The main focus of our conference is on (real) analysis and its numerous applications. Our goal is to provide an update on recent results, a discussion forum for future research goals and a starting point for new collaborations in the stimulating atmosphere of the 8th ECM.

The core topics include:

Harmonic analysis and PDEs
Analysis on graphs, groups and manifolds
Spectral theory and completely integrable systems

We also welcome researchers working in neighbouring areas.
